Avalon Springs Farm - We’re a small fiber farm and indie dye studio in MD. Karen, is the producer and artist; we do the farming as a family. We focus on yarn, but also make: roving, patterns, kits and a few finished items. Our farm yarns are ours and locally sourced fleece, hand-dyed and cottage milled. Our studio yarns are the canvas for Karen’s colorwork, technique and expression on many fiber contents.
Celestial Farm - Handmade soaps with all natural ingredients, homemade jams & jellies, local raw honey, and llama yarn.
Fibernate – Virginia raised Alpaca roving and yarn, original knitting patterns, learn to drop spin kits, unique knitting and spinning tools, bamboo buttons, project bags and more.
Flying Goat Farm – From our small fiber farm in Maryland, we make vibrantly hand dyed and natural colored yarn and roving from our animals and commercial sources, for the discerning fiber enthusiast. We’ve added shawl kits, and gradient sets to make beautiful fashion accessories.
Fully Spun – I sell yarn that is hand-dyed as roving, then spun at a mill, to create a beautiful effect, similar to handspun. I will have some hand-dyed roving available at the show for those who would like to put their own spin on it!
Haute Boheme Fibers – Hand dyed yarn and spinning fiber SOAK wool wash, knit and crochet patterns.
Knittimia’s Beaded Stitch Markers – Sparkle up your knitting with the beautiful jewelry-quality stitch markers you deserve. These custom-designed, no-snag stitch markers are made from a combination of lampwork glass, crystal, stone, and metal beads strung on gold- or sliver-plated wire. Hand-made sets of 7 markers that include a start-of-row marker come in two sizes regular (up to size 13 needles) and sock (up to size 6 needles).

Rock Mills Farm – Hand processed wool from my own flock! Fluffy batts and fun rolags, in all natural colors.
Solitude wool - Breed-specific yarns, fibers from fleece sourced exclusively from small farms in Fibershed Chesapeake. Official provider for Shave ’Em to Save ‘Em campaign.
Strauch Fiber Equipment Company –Joanne and Otto Strauch will be demonstrating and selling their fabulous fiber processing equipment at the Fibernate booth. Stop by to meet them, and bring some fiber to try out their drum carders, or a skein of yarn to see how effortless their swifts and ball winders make winding a ball of yarn.

Our colorways are typically bright & bold, and named after animals, plants, gems & minerals using scientific and common names. We also sell custom mill-dyed, exotic and luxury fiber, curated accessories, and tools, including Kookaburra fiber wash, Ashford tools and handmade Indian Book Charkhas.
