Description: Have you been curious about creating your own yarn? Does it seem like magic, watching twist and fiber turn into handspun yarn on a spindle? Whether you already knit, crochet or weave, learning how yarn is made, provides a two-fold benefit. Not only providing you with a new fiber skill, but informing your knowledge of yarn, as it applies to your current fiber pursuits. Spend an hour and a half learning how to pre-draft fiber, and a step-by-step method of spinning using a top whorl spindle. Go home with the skills to make your own magic with this simple tool, and fiber. No previous spinning experience necessary. You’ll need a top whorl drop spindle, and 1-2 ozs. of carded fiber, bring your own supplies, or purchase them in class. Class fee $30.00 Supply fee $20.00 (includes top whorl spindle and carded fiber), and is payable to instructor.
